President Yoweri Museveni has promised the resumption of all projects that had stalled in Kyenjojo district after central government funds were stolen since government compelled the suspects to return the stolen money.

 Addressing thousands of people who turned up for his rally, the NRM candidate said local leaders should have informed the public about the return of this money.

He added that it is a pity that whenever such criminals are arrested and taken to court, the judges set them free; something he says is setting back the country.

President Museveni says he has discussed it with the Chief Justice. On the education front, Museveni says the government will take over Butunduzi SS and seed schools will be built in Butunduzi Town Council, Katooke, Kigaraale, Kihuura, Kyarusozi and Nyabuharwa. “For the roads, the Kampala-Fort Portal road will be redone while the Hoima-Kyenjojo road is to be tarmacked. Money has been earmarked and construction has already started from the Hoima side.” H.E promised
