The dangers of lighting a fart have been documented, although it can be funny to do, it can also be dangerous. An example of dangerous fating comes after a herd of dairy cows nearly blew the roof of their barn off, because pf farting. The explosion at a German dairy farm was caused by a build-up of methane from windy cows and a static electric charge. The explosion happened at a farm in Rasdorf, Germany on Monday, luckily there were no serious injuries, with just one cow suffering from light burns.

According to Police in Hesse state: ‘A static electric charge apparently triggered the detonation, and a spurt of flame, on Monday at a farm in Rasdorf. The roof was slightly damaged and one cow suffered light burns – no-one was hurt.’ Although up to 90 cows are kept in the shed, it wasn’t clear how much methane build up there was, however perhaps someone should have cracked a window, to at least let some fresh air in, wouldn’t fancy walking into that barn.

Surprisingly, cows are one of the biggest producers of CO2 emissions, producing more than an average family car. They are one of the top polluters to our planet all from their farts and burps. Currently agriculture is responsible for an estimated 14 percent of the world’s greenhouse gases. One of the main contributors is methane. This is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide. Which is why many environmentalists are calling for a decrease in meat consumption, in an effort to cut down on cows, producing ass blasts which should cut down the amount of methane produced.

Cows actually produce more methane from their belching than their anal acoustics, which means I wouldn’t want to get a whiff of their breath! Here in the UK Cows contribute 3 percent of the overall greenhouse gas emissions and 25 to 30 percent of its methane, just piping the Houses of Parliament to the post for obnoxious gasses released. There are trials going on in Wales looking at adding garlic to feed to reduce garlic. It won’t work on improving their breath but could have an effect on their bodily functions and keep welsh men at bay.
