He was born 1995 in kanungu district upcountry of uganda where he grew up from and later shifted to kampala city to kampala for the real hustle of music zigi also known as champboy was inspired by afrobeat legends thats jose chameleon, moses radio and wizkid. he also contributed on fik fameica's hit stupid ft selecta jef and boyfire by sheebah ft selecta jef as song writer. both songs produced by b.i.t./almagic records he is currently signed under almagic music label where he got a chance to release his first project mateeka which was premiered on 14th march 2021.
