Spring of Hope Choir is a Ugandan choir formed at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School, Maddu – Gomba, in 2023. It is often shortened to SOH. The choir consists of students of Bright Comprehensive Secondary School, teens (13 – 19 years) established for praise, worship, entertainment and educative music.

History

Spring of Hope choir was founded in 2023 by Mr. Nsamba Seth, a movie director at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School. The choir’s first President was Nagawa Faith and the Vice President Tumwebaze Mike. The choir was at first known as Spring of Life, and was later thought of gaining a new name of Spring of Hope on 3 April 2023, due to the fact that another choir was using a similar sounding name. They signed a record deal with Smart Records whose C.E.O and producer is Jacob beats based in Kampala Uganda. Spring of Hope’s first big break came on 11 October 2023 when they performed in the Seventh Day Adventist camp meeting in the main church.

Music background

The choir has released one studio album known as “Abadde Yesu” consisting of Eight (8) songs namely: Abadde Yesu, Ssanyu Ssanyu and Tonta; written and composed by Muwanguzi Hope. Atalina, Mungalozo and Wansi; written and composed by Magezi Isaac. Ensi Tekungulwa and Ninda Bulinzi; written and composed by Azira Johnathan. The Abadde Yesu album is a Zulu music album which was first semi - launched on 11 June 2023 and officially launched on 25 December 2023 on the BRICOSS mega music concert at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School.
