Mukalazi Joseph aka River J born on March 14th, 1995, in Wakiso, Uganda is a singer song writer. River j is an upcoming and promising artist who has enjoyed tremendous success on both the reggae and dancehall music charts. The versatile artist performs different genres of music. River j grew up in wakiso were he was raised by both his mother Mrs. Nakku Robbina and Mr. Luzinda Mathias the father. River J says that his stage name was inspired by his melodic lyrics that flow like a river and the J is derived from his name joseph. He has been singing professionally since 2015.
River J music is fast gaining popularity with his afro reggae fusion track sente which has both infectious melodies and inspirational lyrics which has received massive air play on the local radios and clubs ,he has some other good songs like dunia madala and love kyambalo which have received a good reception from the fans .
