Rickshan was born in Akokoro sub county in APAC district, Northern Uganda
He was born on the 13th /04/998 to Ongom Richard and Mrs Betty Ongom
His real name is Oceng  ERICK. he is  the 8th out of 9 children in his family
Rick grew up from Lira district in Northern Uganda

Academic Background
Rick joined primary schooling at Adwila  primary school in 2003 and sat his primary leaving examination from Adok primary school in Dokolo district.
Rick joined secondary school education at Amach complex in Lira Uganda where he sat his O'level studies in Amach complex
He went to Doctor Obote College for his A'level studies.

Music Career
He got engaged in various choir activities in churches right from high school.
He saw his first studio session under Elis music in 2017 and came up with his first song titled Wallpaper which went viral on social media  airwaves and various night clubs
