Wekesa Martin aka Laxco Detarture is making a huge music step in eastern Uganda. Started singing 6 years back in a local church choir and he later moved his singing talent to schools like Manjasi in Tororo where he participated in MDD shows hence developing his talent more. In 2018 Laxco kicked off his career seriously when he participated in the East Fm radio talent search where he was the first runner up. 

He is majoring in Reggae genre type of music with edutainment lyrical content and currently promoted by Hash Muzik and managed by Manager Msafi Ug.
