Kamie Gold (real name Jimmie King Kamenye) is a Ugandan musician based in Gothenburg, Sweden.  Born and raised in Luzira, a Kampala surburb in Uganda.

He started his music career in 2006 after his secondary school days. He started off with the likes of Henry Tigan, Mighty Benz and later changed camp to Kireka where he joined then Gagamel artist Dizzy Nuts Galiwango. He later moved on to join producer Jonty and dancehall upcoming artist Hypaman Kiyaga and they formed Pick Jam Records.

In 2009, Kamie with now Da New Eagles singer Henry Mwanje formed a duo but later went to fall apart as Kamie had joined UBC TV to act as a Yellow bird puppet on a children’s television show thus dropping music for television. He went on after to replace Tuwangye Richard as presenter to musical show Da Beat with Dembe FM presenter Prossy Patra.  

In 2013 Kamie moved to Sweden for further studies and merged as a solo artist and performer starting his own promotions label Dime Dice Inc where he  promoted artists including UK based Thai CON, Triplets Ghetto Kids and many others.

In 2017 he revamp his music career with a new single Kankutte which he co-produced with Ugandan based producer Murder Chris and now working on his first studio album.
