Jay arc was born March 13th 1993 to Ugandan parents. At an early age, his engrossment in music activities through school performances(Music, Dance and Drama) and other functions, vented his passion to take on music as a career. It's through these activities that he started mastering his music skills as he transitioned through his teenage life that was circled with diverse choices.

As years passed on, Jay Arc's appetite for rap and reggae music momentously started increasing as his writing skills matured gradually. Jay Arc's affiliation to Hannz Tactiq of Hannz Records in 2009 sparked a serious-minded musical journey as words of encouragement guided him through a lot of blocks. Under the wings of Hannz, Jay Arc started recording his songs that opened the never ending music voyage.

One of his most recognized songs titled "Ndi Wakabi" echoed his maturity on the music scene as many entertainment portals like radios and newspapers appreciated his then speck work. Since then, Jay Arc has worked with several recognized producers like J.T of YEGO Productions, and recently Aethan and Sam Lamara also known as Samurae who have produced some of his recommendable music projects like HATER among others. Jay Arc's music passion is limitless as he tries to float on different genres of music.
