Born in APRIL 12 1995 at Arua regional referral hospital,(west Nile)  Opio Johnpaul  is a dynamic, gospel artist with a music label JP music currently based in the city of Arua (North Western region).

A professional journalist and Entrepreneur and a graduate of Chepkoilel University College, Eldoret Kenya . he started early grade studies at bishop Alison theological nursery school in Arua and Ragem primary school before joining Nile International School of Academicians (NISA U) and later Uleppi Secondary  where he completed and sat for U.C.E

Opio John Paul majored in two projects beside his music, Entrepreneurship where he makes Soap and detergent in his small company called Gracious Cottage Industry Development Innitiative (GCIDI) Arua and Radio journalism. he has worked with 94.1after acquiring a practical skill in radio broadcast with Radio Pacis in 2015, Africell Uganda in 2017 and currently working with 88.7 Arua One FM where his anchoring news in Alur and also presents a Dwol mwa magazine show on Arua one FM every Sunday from 12:00pm to 1;00pm.

besides music ministry he is dedicated to developing to greater heights by the grace of God.

JP Music actively ventured into gospel music in 2020 and that same year his hit song "who Am I and Nwang both in Alur ” literally mean seek Salvation was Loved by his Funs his style is dynamic, ranging from slow tunes to danceable afro-beat.

His fan base cuts across all ages and is growing by leaps and bounds rightly stamping her as one of the most talented Gospel artists from West Nile region.

A focused,cheerful go-getter, JP Music is currently working on a number of projects and looks forward to releasing a number of videos before the end of 2020.
