Dj Frost Mfalme is an International DJ, record producer and Africa’s Number one Reggea and Dancehall Mix-tape Magnet with a growing reputation for his mix-tapes.
Born in Kampala Uganda on 15th January 1994, Martin Mbiira Drich popularly know as Dj Frost Mfalme is not new to the local population who worship his mixes. He rebranded from his former name DJ JUAN VITA because fans where always contradicting him with dj juan of supremacy sounds. he decided to rebrand under Mutual interest. "Frost" is an english word meaning "a thin layer of ice on a solid surface, which forms from water vapor in an above freezing atmosphere coming in contact with a solid surface whose temperature is below freezing and resulting in a phase change from water vapor to ice as the water vapor reaches the freezing point. To sumarise it, "Frost" is the processs of freezing and "Mfalme" is a swahili word meaing "King". so he is the "Freezing King"
Dj Frost Mfalme began his deejaying career way back in 2009 as a professional DJ in 2014, Frost while at his college, he used to perform at school parties using only a computer and studio mixer. his fellow students always admired his Talent and and whenever they had free time back in the school dormitories, he used to make beats as another student would free style acappella. he would be hitting metalic suitcases and playing beats of different Genres. he was known as the Dormitory House Dj.
back in the classroom, he used to make beats by hitting the wooden desks on lunch time and break time with friends Tom Kisembo, Ivan otim etc. he used to make dj scratches using Keys for his paddlock suitcase. Frost mfalme spent most of his Academic life in boarding section, he joined boarding when he was 7years old until he was 17 years. he spent one year in day school and he re joned boarding section again the next year to complete his College.
Dj frost mfalme has loved Deejaying and has a passionate, at the age 15, he was carrying Cd bag for his distant cousin called Dj iswaya. iswaya is a prominent Dj in Eastern part of the country especially in Jinja, Kamuli, iganga, bukungu etc, known for his remixes and Club level performance. it is through Dj iswaya that Dj Frost Mfalme started to love deejaying. at 15 years, Frost was already in Clubs. at 16 years, dj frost learnt how to make remixes using Fl studio, when it comes to the Deejaying industry, Dj frost is Not only Professional, he is Ultra.
As a kid, he grew up discplined because of his family miltary and police background, he grew up from different barracks' . with his being exposed to security operations, in 2015, he was once deployed to part time as a security personnel by the DPC at St Noa Girls secondary school in ZZana under the unit of Counter terrorism- a department of police that deals in apprehending and preventing of Terrorist attacks in the country.
Dj Frost Mfalme was inspired by Dj iswaya, Dj Joe mflame, Dj kalonje, the late Avicci, dj ricky star and Dj Shiru, Dj frost Mfalme was the first Dj student to attend Esom Music school along Rubanga road, infact he is the reason why the school had to open up a dj academy after he had inquired if the school offered Dj course and it turned out the school was not training djs that time. the school after three days opened a dj academy hence becoming the pioneer of the academy. he attended several school like Kireka parents for his elemenatry education, Lubiri secondary, Royal College,Kisubi mapeera,Jovens High school and St lawrence for his College, he also studied Computer science at YMCA and Business administration at Makerere university
He has been in the ears of music lovers and he continues to maintain that as long as you live on any of the 7 planets of the world, you have 40% chance of hearing his mixtapes. Hated by many, loved by a few and respected by All defines Dj frost mfalme who also is the Undisputed King of the 256 (two five six) the country code for Uganda. He has mixtape collaborated with Dj Quad from kenya and Dj Barrett from uganda.Furthermore Dj Frost Mfalme has nutured young Talents who have taken up the new generation Deejaying in uganda. He was among the Djs to upgrow the Talent of Dj Polo, Dj Jammie J, Dj Easy Samuel a Gospel Dj working for Pastor Wilson Bugembe and he has already won two awards in 2018 and 2019 as the best gospel Dj. HFrost has never Got tired and still up to date he is providing knowldge and skills to djs like Dj chrispas who is now trending for his Mixtapes on youtube and in the country.
Dj frost Mfalme nolonger needs introduction to the music lovers, he has worked at Club Dancers, Club One 54 Uganda online radio in Dubai, Ssebo Fm in kamuli District, worked on different Gigs in the country like the Buddies Beach rave party in 2014 featuring Gnl zamba, Kemishan, big trill, Mun G, Flex D paper, Amanda, Rabadaba Djaden and Nutty Boi as he played alongside Dj Vin, Dj Barrett and Dj The weezy (Now an audio Producer).
He also performed at Dj Barrett's Explosion at Club icon in 2018 and 2017. played at the Dian pool party last year twice. He was among the chief planners and performing Dj's at Dj Bbaale paul ricky 's Pork pool party in 2017. and several of other gigs
He is synonymous and Phenomeno with the best of the best of his Audio and Video Mix-Tapes in Afrobeat, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Old Skool, House, Rock, EDM, Techno music, and continues to inspire a generation of up-and-coming young Deejays. He is also the manager of Mercy Black skin his biological sister who is a video vixen and has featured in over 100 videos of the Top and coming artists like Bebecool, fik famieca, shammy k, John Blaq, Winnie Nwangi, slim price, sheebah, cindy, pallaso, radio (R.i.p) and weasel, Dj shiru, Minayo azizi Azion,Daddy andre and many more artists with Hitting videos, she also Features on all top gigs as a dancer in the country, The 23 year old is something you don't wanna feature Not in your Music Video with her incredible dancing moves
Dj Frost has also established himself in the entertainment industry as the CEO of Mad House sounds. Together with Dj Vin and Dj Delo, they have managed to promote Talent and Artist promotion in the country and across boarders. Mad House Sounds is a Dj label NOT a recording Label, however it partners with Effekt Media a recording Label under Dj Kats one of the pioneer remix Djs in the country who has worked with Dj senior B and Dj Jacob both of Dembe Fm.
