Government should Give Shs 1 billion to every homestead - Comedian Amooti

Covid 19 is spreading like a wild fire in many parts of the world despite not recording a single case in Uganda.

The government has been forced to introduce quarantime measures to prevent it from spreading into the country.

Among these is temporarily putting an end to public gatherings and because of this, comedian Amooti has asked the government to facilitate every homestead with financial security of Shs 1 billion  incase the pandemic fails to end soon. 

According to World Health organization,the ongoing global outbreak may last for months. Scientists are working day and night to find an antidote/ vaccine for COVID-19.
