Manchester United will only increase their £30m bid for Spain defender Sergio Ramos, 29, if Real Madrid agree to do the same for United's Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, 24. (Mirror)

Crystal Palace are in talks with Paris St-Germain about signing 29-year-old France midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who played under Palace boss Alan Pardew at Newcastle, for around £10m. (Guardian) 

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes will pay Serie A side Udinese £4.4m for Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, 24. (Daily Star) 

Meanwhile, Stoke's Bosnian goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, 28, has his heart set on joining Chelsea, even as an understudy to number one Thibaut Courtois. (Mirror) 

Manchester City are facing a battle to secure their top two midfield targets this summer with Wolfsburg vowing to keep Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, 24, and Juventus's French midfielder Paul Pogba, 22, waiting on the outcome of Barcelona's presidential elections before deciding on his future. Manchester United target Bastian Schweinsteiger wants to stay at Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old Germany midfielder says he wants to win the Champions League and a fourth consecutive title with the Bundesliga champions. (Sport1 - in German) 

After missing out on Schweinsteiger, United will move to secure the £25m signing of Southampton's France midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. (Daily Express)
