Manchester United would only consider allowing David De Gea, 24, to leave if Real Madrid offered a world-record fee for a goalkeeper - more than the £32.6m deal that took Gianluigi Buffon from Parma to Juventus in 2001. (Manchester Evening News) 

United striker Robin van Persie says his wife Bouchra will have the final say on his future at Old Trafford. The 31-year-old has a year left to run on his contract with the Red Devils. (Sun - subscription required)  

Manchester City are ready to exploit a £10m buyout clause in 25-year-old Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph's contract. (Mirror) 

Villa have had a "derisory" bid for 28-year-old goalkeeper Asmir Begovic rejected by Stoke. The Potters value the Bosnian at £8m to £10m, but Villa's offer was around half of that. (The Times - subscription required) 

Tottenham are considering a £7m bid for Everton's Belgium winger Kevin Mirallas, 27, who has one year remaining on his deal at Goodison Park. (Daily Mirror) 

The Toffees will continue to monitor Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj, 20, this summer, having enquired about taking him on loan in January. The Belgium international made only 21 appearances for United last season. (Liverpool Echo) 

Arsenal are planning a move for Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda, 18, who is valued by the Blues at £7m. (Daily Express) 

But the Gunners fear they will lose out to Manchester United in the race to sign Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, 25. (Guardian) 

Liverpool have made contact with Italian side Atalanta about the availability of right-back Davide Zappacosta, 23, who played in Italy Under-21s' victory over England on Wednesday. (Express, from Gazzetta dello Sport) 

Tottenham could complete the free transfer of FC Dnipro's Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, 25, who will fly into London next week for talks. (Eurosport - in Turkish)

Swansea have been linked with a move for Portuguese international Eder, 27, who scored 10 goals for Sporting Braga in Portugal's top flight last season. (South Wales Evening Post) 

Sunderland are preparing to go back to West Ham with an improved offer for winger Stewart Downing, 30, amid reports they have already had a £5m bid rejected. (Newcastle Chronicle) 

The Black Cats have also made an £8m bid for Dynamo Kiev forward Jeremain Lens. The 27-year-old has worked under Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat before at PSV. (Daily Mail) 

North East rivals Newcastle are to make a £12m bid for Anderlecht's 20-year-old striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Serb scored 23 goals last season. (Daily Mirror) 

After signing Frenchman Dimitri Payet, West Ham are closing in on a deal for Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour, 25, who is valued at £14m. (Metro) 

Turkish side Galatasaray are interested in signing Arsenal's out-of-favour forward German Lukas Podolski, 30, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan. (Daily Mirror) 

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, 32, says he wants to end his playing career at Etihad Stadium and become an iconic figure like Paolo Maldini at AC Milan, who played until he was 40. (Manchester Evening News) 

Serie A side Fiorentina are confident of keeping Chelsea's Mohamed Salah, 23, on loan for another season. The Egyptian winger spent the second half of last season at the Italian club. (Talksport via Gazzetta dello Sport) 

Southampton, Sunderland and Newcastle are all thought to be interested in Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar, 30, whose contract expires at the end of the month. (Birmingham Mail) 

West Brom boss Tony Pulis could return to his former club Crystal Palace to bid for goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, 28, this summer. (Croydon Advertiser) 

The Baggies are also battling with Palace and Sunderland to sign QPR winger Matt Phillips, 24, who is said to be worth £8m. (Telegraph) 

Barcelona's 26-year-old left-back Jordi Alba says he wants to stay at the club for "many many years", ending Louis van Gaal's hopes of signing him for Manchester United. (Daily Star) 

One player who could leave the Nou Camp is 19-year-old Adama Traore. Premier League sides Everton and Stoke have expressed an interest in signing the Barca winger. (Talksport via Sport) 

Former Stoke winger Matthew Etherington has warned Potter boss Mark Hughes he could be left with a gaping hole in his squad if he sells Asmir Begovic, Steven Nzonzi and Jon Walters in addition to Robert Huth this summer. (Stoke Sentinel)
