Manchester City will attempt to sign Liverpool's England winger Raheem Sterling, 20, for over £30m as soon as the summer transfer window opens. The Premier League champions will also get rid of six players to fund new signings and want Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola to replace Manuel Pellegrini. (Daily Mirror) 

City could pay as much as £50m to sign Sterling. (Daily Mail)  

But Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre says Sterling will not be leaving Anfield in the summer. (Daily Express)
