Chris Mubiru, the former boss of Sports Club Villa and Uganda Cranes, has been convicted of sodomy in Kampala,

Uganda three years after explicit pictures of him having sex with another men appeared in the Redpepper in 2012.

The judgement has been passed by the Buganda Road Court Magistrate on Tuesday morning after evidence pinned the former UCB player.

Buganda Road Chief magistrate Flavia Nabakooza added that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

Murbiru’s sentence has yet to be announced on September 18.

Mubiru is reported to have enticed many footballers and officials into the act but there was no evidence despite his name coming up in all debates concerning homosexuality.

According to the laws of the nation, the crime is punishable by 18 years in jail on conviction.
