The socialite is now taking shots at Americans for what she calls an application of double standards. America has been in the news after a young man opened fire in a church and killed nine people before fleeing.
Police who have been trailing the man finally nabbed him but the manner in which they handled him is where Corazon has drawn her argument from. The killer is a white man and Corazon has wondered why he is not arrested the same way police arrested black Americans who commit the same crime.
Corazon compares how black Americans are harassed and escorted like animals while the white man is arrested like a VIP.
She said:
This really makes me sad! Just shows how black lives don't matter to these people, so a boy kills nine people and given a 'VIP' arrest! Jacket and all! If he was black he would be dead by now! #blacklivesmatter #whitesupremacy. Why I would never leave Africa my motherland for anything.
