Cindy and Lilian were once close friends during their time together in the group Blu3, alongside Jackie Chandiru. However, due to personal differences, Blu3 disbanded, and both singers pursued solo careers.
Since their breakup, Cindy and Lilian have not maintained a cordial relationship. Lilian even showed support for Cindy's rival in a recent music battle held at Kololo airstrip last month.
Recently, Lilian faced public challenges when her landlord accused her of defaulting on rent worth UGX 24 million, which had accumulated over 17 months.
During a recent dinner party celebrating her performance at the music battle, Cindy took a cheeky dig at Lilian Mbabazi and Sheebah. She suggested that Sheebah should focus on helping her close friend Lilian, whose career has not been as vibrant as hers, rather than trying to revive Cindy's career.
“If she is thinking of reviving someone, she should help her friends like Lilian Mbabazi. We know that they are close friends and her (Lilian’s) career has not been very vibrant. She should help that one, not me,” she said.
