Socialite Judith Heard has supported Ugandan music for many years.

Speaking about the current standoff between Bobi Wine and other musicians in the industry over copyright law, Judith Heard described the members of the Uganda National Musician Federation(UNMF) as cowards who are just afraid of Bobi Wine's influence.

She believes Bobi Wine's message to the musicians was in good faith but they don't want to take his guidance because they are just greedy for money.

"Ugandan musicians are just cowards who are selfish and greedy but fear to hear that. Bobi Wine's speech was educative and I just thought you would pick the advice he gave you. You are in that federation for tokens nothing more," she said in a live video.

During Kato Lubwama's burial last Wednesday in Nkozi, Bobi Wine said the government was delaying passing the copyright law to frustrate the entertainment industry. He asked all artists not to accept to be beggars if they are to protect their integrity and reap from their sweat.

His statements did not go well with some musicians who branded him selfish and hypocritical since he also enjoys government money every year.
