Two concerts took place in Kampala on Friday, June 9: Pallaso's Love Fest concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, promoted by Balaam Barugahara, and the Sitya Danger Concert at Freedom City, promoted by Abitex.

However, Balaam expressed his dissatisfaction with Abitex for organizing Alien Skin's concert on the same day, despite Love Fest having booked the date earlier.

In an interview with journalists, Balaam criticized Abitex for disregarding their agreement as members of the Uganda National Promoters Association (UNPA).

He stated that Abitex's actions would be addressed by the disciplinary committee, and he would be held accountable for his disobedience. Balaam also declared that such clashes between UNPA promoters would no longer be tolerated, as it contradicts the association's rules.

However, Abitex remained unfazed by the threats and confidently asserted that Alien Skin, the rising star, surpasses the likes of Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool in terms of talent and influence in the industry. Abitex mentioned that Alien Skin's sudden rise to fame led to the impromptu concert, and he believes that only Chameleone and Bobi Wine are superior to Alien Skin in drawing crowds.
