When the former Speaker of Parliament, late Jacob Oulanyah was flown to Seattle, Washington for treatment, a section of NUP supporters were seen protesting against the reckless expenditure of taxpayers’ money.
A few months after the death of Oulanyah, NUP member and legislator, Betty Nambooze has also been taken to the US to receive advanced medical care.
Frank Gashumba has now tasked Bobi Wine to ask his NUP supporters to complain against Nambooze’s medical care in the states since the government is footing the bills.
“So, will NUP radical extremists protest against the government's decision to take Nambooze to the United States for treatment, the way they demonstrated against the late Jacob Oulanyah's treatment in Seattle US? Bobi Wine should ask them to protest,” Gashumba said.
