Struggling musician Jackie Chandiru has experienced life through all corners.
She saw it when on top and also when she hit the rock bottom.
Speaking about her fight against addiction and depression, Chandiru said Ugandans didn't give her time to heal. They always came out with negative criticism instead of offering her help.
She narrated that when her pictures in a bad state leaked online, she received all tribes of insults from Ugandans and this forced her to flee the country to Kenya.
"Ugandans did not give me a chance to heal, when they saw pictures of me in an awful state, they insulted me, and it made my situation worse. This is why I have spent a lot of time in Kenya," she said.
Chandiru however remains grateful to her family and friends who did anything in their capacities to see her enjoy life again.
