Musician Cindy Sanyu got married to filmmaker and actor, Joel Atiku on Saturday and they are expecting a kid soon.
Ranked as one of the best musicians in Uganda, Cindy said there is a time when she felt she needed no man.
She had learned to be an independent woman.
But her perception changed when she met Joel. She started to think about marriage.
“I distanced myself from some slay queens and musicians. I know you are wondering why I invited a few of them to my wedding. That’s because I changed my circle of friends and this has helped shape my life for the better,” she said during her speech at the wedding.
Cindy is also blessed with a baby girl from a previous relationship.
