Faded musician Leila Kayondo and her former best friend, Hellen Lukoma were well known for drinking nonstop in all Kampala’s top night spots until the latter decided to quit and become a family woman.
This did not stop Leila Kayondo from enjoying her alcohol. She instead resorted to drinking from “bufundas” together with a number of her idle fans.
Sad news is that the “awo” singer is reportedly bed ridden over consumption of too much alcohol.
According to an insider, Leila was admitted on Tuesday night at one of the hospitals along Ggaba road.
The singer claimed to be suffering from malaria but tests showed that her blood contained a lot of alcohol.
Her condition is improving and she could soon be discharged soon.
