Reach a hand, Uganda ( RAHU) announced a series of contests dubbed, #AuntFloExperience to mark Menstrual Hygiene Day, 2019.

RAHU boss, Humphrey Nabimanya said the purpose of the campaign is to demystify the negative stereotypes associated with menstruation.

The categories of the contest are; School Essay contest (open to only young people in schools), Online Blog contest (open to all) and the Social Media video clip (open to all) contest.

On Social Media,  participants will be required to share their most memorable menstrual period experiences online. Whereas bloggers who are willing to participate are required to write a 500 word article on what can be done to better menstrual hygiene among young people. The blogger with the most well written, informative piece will win Ugx 1.5M  while 500k is up for the person with the most outstanding video on social media.
