The estranged wife to Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Police Commander, Norman Musinga has vowed to strip naked before Makindye court if he fails to show up again for the court session.
On Thursday afternoon, Norman failed to attend court for the fifth time after filing for divorce in September last year. He was supposed to testify against his wife but neither Norman nor his Lawyer Elison Karuhanga appeared in court.
Speaking to journalists at court on Thursday, Esther was spitting fire and threatened to undress for court if they don’t force her Ex-husband to appear. “Since September he has been dodging court claiming to be sick, busy on government work and other lame excuses. The next time I appear here, I will be nude.” Kyinkuheire told court urging that the estranged husband wastes his time and transport fares as well.
Sources at Makindye Magistrates Court informed us that Kyinkuhaire’s Lawyer, Asuman Nyonyintono requested the court to adjourn the case with costs since the Complainant has for several times failed to adhere to court claiming to be busy. However, the magistrate refused to listen to the lawyer’s demands claiming the case is a family matter.
His Ex-wife, Esther Kyinkuheire reportedly set strict terms for his ex-husband if the divorce is to take place. According to our sources, we have been informed that Esther is asking for 200m as part of divorce and a monthly upkeep of 2m.
In September 2016, Norman filed for divorce against Kyinkuheire citing irreconcilable differences. On December 21, last year, the court granted interim custody of the couple’s three children to Kyinkuheire.
