It has come to our attention that ‘BE MY DATE ‘show that used to air on NTV every Sunday at 8pm has been scrapped off air. Sources at the Serena based TV station tipped us that the show crumbled after so many accusations within and outside the TV station. Here are the some of reasons why the management of NTV closed down the show
SEX
Fabiola’s ghosts couldn’t let the show stand. Her successor Bettina Tiannah was involved in sex scandals more than Fabiola. It was alleged that she had slept with most of the city tycoons. She first slept with Jk Kazoora and later denied it. She was also close to city hajji who was funding her lavish life style. Even town men started targeting Bettina because her show was like a love connection site.
Lost viewership
Fabiola had set standards on that show. When Bettina came in, she started copying and pasting all her ideas. She had nothing new and views got fed up. They started accusing Bettina of being lazy and lacking creativity. The management instead saved their image and scrapped it off.
No revenue
When the show lost its view ship, the advertisers pulled out. There was no revenue coming from that show but the company was spending heavily to keep it on air.
New management
Sources say, the company hired new management. They hired a manager from sister company from Nairobi. The new manager’s target was Be my date. She didn’t see any value the show added to the viewers rather promoting immorality. She ordered for its closure.
