She has apparently been suffering a mystery illness for the past two weeks while on tour.
But it looks as though Avril Lavigne is finally on the mend thanks to a bit of sunshine in South America.
On Saturday, the singer posted a bikini snap by the beach and it looked as though she has no fully recovered.

The 29-year-old singer – who is married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger - also showed off her bikini body earlier this month as she took a beach break in Mexico.

But the When You're Gone hitmaker nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction while frolicking in the sea as she came close to losing her bikini bottoms.
The Slipped Away singer was seen placing her hand onto her clothing to protect her modesty.
When she wasn't clutching onto her bottoms, Avril looked to be having a whale of a time as she crashed into the waves in the sea.

Avril completed the South American leg of her tour on Friday in Santiago, Chile, and is set to perform her next gig in Monterry, Mexico, on Tuesday.
The singer's mammoth 70-date tour will come to an end in the US on June 28 but not before she plays one date in her native Canada and a hat-trick of gigs in Mexico. [via - Daily Mail]
