During his speech yesterday July. 15 at a press conference that was held at Liquid Silk, Village Mall, Bebe Cool made known the reason he decided to call his upcoming concert 'Life Of Bebe Cool'.

The singer's 2015 concert was dubbed 'Friends Of Bebe Cool'. Just a quick note!

This time, 'Life Of Bebe Cool' sounded a lot like this was his last concert. It felt like he had reached the end of the road and was wrapping his career memories together into one concert ... but that's not the case. In fact, Bebe Cool says he has even bigger hits planned for the next '5 years'.

He said the reason behind the confusing name is because he was tired of artists being celebrated only when they are dead. He opined this while highlighting names of the greats like, Philly and Paul Kafeero.

"Am tired of artists only being honored when they're dead and to me this is the right time to remind people that am one of the greatest and I should be given the credit I deserve while I still live", Bebe Cool said.

The "Kabulengane" singer mentioned his friend Jose Chameleone while using his hit single, Basima Ogenze, as a reference.

"My friend sang a song called Basima Ogenze, I wouldn't want that to happen to me. I would even request that he sings another one titled 'Basima Wooli'" -- he added.

This is not the first time Bebe Cool has come out to express his frustration about how the industry celebrates music artists. In 2015, he took to social media and shared a tl;dr post in which he called out music fans to NEVER celebrate him after he is dead ... if they can't do it now when he still lives.
