Giving her remarks to Yvonne Chaka Chaka, the African Queen of Comedy—as Yvonne referred to her—said she was more than glad the legendary singer and one of the most respected women in Africa flew all the way from South Africa to attend her show.
As Yvonne stepped on stage, Anne said to the audience; "Let's first get serious, no jokes" and turned to her (real) mom who was sitting on the VIP table closest to the stage; "Mom, I know you're my mom, but first forget that. Yvonne is my mom now. My second mom" ... and everyone in the crowd was cheering.
She almost shed tears saying how blessed and honored she felt that Yvonne actually didn't have any other businesses she was attending to but specifically came to Uganda to attend the her show.
"Yvonne, did you just come to Uganda for my show or you have other things you for and just decided to pass by"—Anne asked this question about four times.
