Former FDC president Dr. Kiiza Besigye is living to his words of “I am back” and giving police serious headache as has been in the past.

Besigye returned to the country on Monday and vowed to start from where he had stopped with his defiance campaign.

He is facing treason charges, but the opposition strongman will not stop causing trouble.

Today, the Kampala city centre was a scene of drama as Besigye was confronted by police over failure to adhere to their orders.

He had come to report to the High Court as part of his bail conditions, but decided to visit Cairo bank where he did some transactions before heading to Nsambya.

Trouble begun when Kampala South Regional Police Commander Geoffrey Kaheebwa tried to stop Besigye from accessing the city centre via clock tower.

Besigye told the police commander that like any other Ugandan, he had the right to go anywhere he wanted without the police tailing him.

However, Kaheebwa told the 2016 presidential contender that the force was tired of his indiscipline and it was time to bring it to an end.

Besigye would later be asked to head to the FDC head offices in Najjanankumbi, but later returned, only to find the same problem.

His vehicle was at this moment towed and he was led to Kasangati. His car later broke down and the force used Fred Mwesigwa , the KMP commander’s vehicle to take him home.

The News of his car breaking down later spread like wild fire on social media with some of his fans claiming it was an assassination plot against their leader.
