KCCA's decision to ban the venue affected all stakeholders in the entertainment industry. The reason given (poor hygiene) was considered by many as regrettable, rather unfortunate, appalling and absolutely pathetic, given the fact that the KCCA stadium, is in a worse state with a collapsing perimeter wall fence and only has three toilets to serve thousands of soccer fans.

They only brought one mobile toilet to the general stand (Kirussia) 2 months ago, after several complaints from fans. As man involved in the planing of security for events, this decision is a wise one, because the cricket oval is easier to secure and manage with several access gates, a perimeter wall and parking just across the road at shoprite.

Rumour has it, that the first concert at the venue might be Busy Signal and Konshens in August.
