Six thugs arrested in Buliisa district for meting terror on residents

Detectives have finally arrested six suspected thugs who are believed to have been terrorizing residents of Buliisa district. The suspects, whose identities have been withheld by the police for fear of jeopardizing investigations were arrested within Biiso trading center in Biiso town council on Tuesday night.

The thugs are believed to be behind the rampant cases of robbery, theft of motorcycles, and housebreak-ins among others. Upon their arrest, police recovered several items including suspected stolen solar panels, 8 mattresses, two bicycles, bags of beans, and housebreaking equipment such as hammers among other items.   

The Buliisa District Police Commander-DPC John Muwaule says that the suspects are in custody at Biiso police station and will appear in court soon for theft, robbery, and possession of stolen properties among others. 
Muwaule says they will continue conducting operations until sanity is restored.
