At least four girls aged between 3-6 years have been defiled across the country in a space of five days. Police have now expressed worry over the increasing cases of defilement.

Accoring to Fred Enanga the Police Spokesperson, the latest cases have been recorded in Wakiso and Mpigi districts. He told the press on Monday that in  Nansana municipality, 23-year-old Denis Lubega was charged with aggravated defilemen after being accused of defiling a 3 year girl at Yesu Amala zone.

Lubega was caught red-handed by community members who mounted a search after the minor’s parents realized that the she was missing around 2pm, only to find the old monster defiling her in the bush, with blood oozing from her private parts.

The child was rushed to Mulago hospital where doctors performed surgery on her immediately. Enanga applauded members of the community of Yesu Amala for their contribution in searching for the girl and helping police to arrest the suspect.

Meanwhile in Mpigi, a mother was shocked to find her 6 year old daughter being defiled by 18 year old Farouk Kiiza who was also reported  to police and later arrested.

Police in Wakiso also arrested Godfrey Sembusi for defiling a 3 and half year old girl who is currently undergoing treatment in Mulago Hospital.

Another defiler Ttusi Butamba, 52, did not survive the wrath of charged residents who found him defiling a 5 year old girl in masala and beat him to death.

While Police says they are committed to investigate such cases and ensure such monsters are kept in jail, parents are also urged to be careful with their children and make sure they are safe.
