President Yoweri.Museveni will this morning receive two planes that have been made in an effort to revive the Uganda Airlines. Six days ago, a team from the ministry of works led by Monica Azuba receives the first two CRJ900 Bombardier aircraft at the production centre in Mirabel, Quebec Canada.

This was after a series of arguments in Parliament which had earlier stayed the approval of funds to buy the aircrafts citing issues of ownership.

Today's official receipt ceremony will be LD at the VVIP lounge of Entebbe international Airport. The bombardiers are expected to land at 9am in intervals of 30 minutes this morning.

On Sunday, the planes were aeen at Heraklion International Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis" Greece on a layover. They have made 5 stopevers wince the trip begun, something that is worrying some MPs who think they are only stopping for mechanical issues.

The journey from Canada could have been with no stop overs considering it is only a 13 hour flight. It has however taken the two bombardiers five days to get home. The 76 seated planes will fly regional.

President will receive and inspect the planes this morning before addressing a gathering of officials from the ministry of works and journalists.

It is not yet ear when the bombardiers will be making their first trip, to which country and how much the trips will cost.
