The Tusker Lite Friday Night Lights tipped off on Friday at Panamera Bar after the festive season break.
Organisers of the event, Tusker Lite used the opportunity to heal fans from the Jan-worry as they generously gave out goodies all night.
The games tipped off with Team Zama and Team Fahmy gracing the plastic outdoor court first. Team Fahmy won the game 21-15 but both sides reported to the awarding podium for goodies that included Shs100,000 each and buckets of Tusker Lite beer. This was the case for all the eight games played.
More games went down thereafter while revellers were kept entertained by various activities as the event yet again lived up to its promise of providing unbridled fun and unlimited Tusker Lite. Through the several challenges on the night, fans won; headsets, t-shirt, bibs and Tusker Lite beers among other things.
The much celebrated artists, Hit Nature wowed fans especially when they performed their biggest hit, ‘Twazikoze’ and all revellers and players singing in unison, ‘zaweze.’
Other match day results included; Team Madol 17-11 Team Wazee, Team Flirsh 10-17 Team Kikiri, Team Ikong 15-12 Team Josh,Team Fahmy 18-14 Team Kikiri, Team Ikong 17-11 Team Madol, Team Enabu 17-16 Team Fahmy and Team Zama 7-12 Team Flirsh.
