Hell broke loose in Buluguya village, Bunambutye Sub County, Bulambuli district when old women undressed before officials from the office of the prime minister.
The officials had visited the area in relation to the planned relocation of the recent bududa landslides victims. The October 11th landslides killed over 60 people and displaced hundreds others.
The officials from OPM met local leaders and agreed that the victims be relocated to Bulambuli as a move to avert further deaths that may result from another tragedy.
Three people whose names are yet to be revealed were arrested from the naked protests and police is hunting for more people that were involved, to be charged with inciting violence.
Residents of Bulambuli however insist they need compensation for their land and properties. Angry people, including naked women blocked officials from OPM, Ministries of Health, Education, Agriculture and lands on their way to the fact finding mission.
However, police was deployed and they cleared the way for officials to proceed with their mission.
