Early this week, Uganda Little Hands Go Green together with Harris International under their flagship brand Riham visited more than 10 schools in Luwero, Matugga and Kawanda.

Howwe has learnt that the visit was part of the ongoing greening campaign that was launched by Little Hands Go Green championed by the founder, Joseph Masembe.

The campaign started at St Catherine Primary School in Kawanda after a flag off at Riham Offices in Kawempe. While at St Catherine, a number of fruit trees were planted and a green zone was placed at the school compound. The team then proceeded to St Marcelino Academy in Matugga where the trees were planted and a green zone created as well. The campaign then proceeded to Luwero  schools and they include; Kasaala Primary School, Kasaaala C/U School, Ndejje Junior School, Nalinya Primary School and Naluvule Primary School.

At the end of the program, over 1000 trees were planted at these primary school by the help of the pupils at the school.

According Joseph Masembe, the campaign is meant to make Uganda Green and this can only be done by planting as many trees as possible.

"I thank Riham for being part of the good cause of moving with us  to promote and support the Greening campaign,"  Masembe told the press.
