The much-anticipated event brings together foodies, food vendors, friends and families to one place.

According to the organizers, the festival will be a fun-filled family event with lots of entertainment and fun activities lined up including DJ sets throughout the day and cook-offs in which lots of great prizes will be won.

The kids will also be catered for in the fun with a dedicated play area with lots of games & entertainment as well as a junior chef competition. Revellers will also get to try out different cuisines from around the global as there will be over 100 food vendors showcasing at the Tokosa food court.

We have also learnt that for the third year, the "Tokosa Food Festival" proceeds will go towards support of the "Bless a Child Foundation", a beneficiary that aims at providing improved Childhood cancer care services so as to increase remission and dignity for terminally ill children however, this year, a new charity has been added, "Grace Villa" in Kabale which provides disadvantaged girls with support. The Foundation which has also started the "Wateeka initiative" to offer free lunch to school-going children that may not afford it. The Wateeka initiative will receive a new Shell Gas Kitchen with a year’s supply of free gas. The Bless a Child Foundation will receive a year’s worth of Gas Refill for their new kitchen.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 17 at UMA Show Grounds Lugogo supported by partners including Coca-cola, Jumia Food and  Ugachick.
