Hell broke loose in Parliament this afternoon after legislators accused one of their own Ronald Kibuule of accessing chambers with a gun.

Kibuule the Mukono North MP and State Minister for Water Resources was nearly punched by opposition MPs who insisted he is searched before plenary could kick off.

Ssemujju Nganda MP Kiira legislator said Kibuule threatened to kill him this afternoon, and later was seen with a gun. He asked that all members are checked to safeguard their lives.

“When I entered this house at 2PM, Hon. Kibuule came here and warned me that today I am facing death” Ssemujju said.

The speaker later asked Hon. Kibuule to leave the chambers, asking the Sergeant at arms to check the suspected area, where he sat.

It is believed that during a scuffle by opposition legislators to search Kibuule, he passed his gun to someone; we would later see a lady, whose face was not clear; leave the chambers with a big hand bag. It is still unclear, if she left the house with the alleged gun, considering after search, nothing was found.
