Ruyonga being one of the most influential rappers in Uganda, has attained that through remarkable prowess. Ruyonga is a concious rapper known for gospel hip hop. When you listen to Royonga’s music, it all revolves around uplifting one’s soul something Hip Hop was originally meant for.

The ‘RRUU’ song is a banger one that you can dance to, produced at “Dust Vill” by Baru beats, easily noticeable since it’s a common thing with rappers---often mention the name of the producer and all the other details .Ruyonga did the same.

In the Hook of the song, he tells us, before he was ‘RRUU’ and he’s doing it for you at the same time ‘repping’ his whole crew and added a little bit of vernacular to cater for other listeners concerns.

For the first verse, he being a Christian contemplates following God first, meditate with a mental picture and the rest will just come to you, like any rapper he’s proud of his home county Uganda and represents it. He raps “about being a leader not for liquor and truly all he has to do is believe God’s over money and all that we desire.”

In the last verse, ‘Rruu’ says “Christ comes first and he’s second, he probably sells a lot of records because of his God and if he can’t sell records for Him, he would rather die begging. If you’re Christian or not we all the same, we can’t pretend it all cool when reality is hitting us.”

This song has it all the culture of Hip Hop is well represented that’s talk about me, what I have, what you need to know and the desire to be heard.
