Nigerian Grammy nominee and award-winning artist Davido will be performing in Kampala on March 29, 2024, which happens to be Good Friday.
This announcement was made by NTV Uganda during the NTV the Beat show on Tuesday.
Sammy Wetaala confirmed Davido's concert and revealed the event will be organized by Eastern Vibes alongside Fenon Events and sponsored by the Nation Media Group and NRG Radio.
"It's official; I can tell you all that Davido will be performing in Uganda on the 29th of March 2024," he said.
The concert venue, however, has not been announced by the event organizers.
This will be Davido's fourth performance in Kampala. He first performed here in 2013 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, then he came back in 2014 for a show at Freedom City.
Davido also performed in early 2019 at Pearl of Africa Hotel.
The singer is famously known among Ugandan music lovers for collaborating on the "Twatoba" song by Pallaso.
