Blu*3 expressed gratitude to their former manager, Steve Jean, during a performance at Protea Skyz Hotel Naguru. They credited him with shaping their identity and guiding them into becoming music icons.
Cindy conveyed,
"We can’t commence this show without acknowledging the person who initiated it, the person who mentored us. We owe our identity to the remarkable individual named Steve Jean. Steve believed in us from the very beginning when we were just starting out. We genuinely appreciate it; thank you."
Blu*3, initially formed in 2004, comprised Cindy, Lilian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru but later disbanded due to internal conflicts.
