Keko, a rapper who recently returned to her home country after six years in Canada, gushed about local artist Joshua Baraka during a radio appearance on Monday.

"I think he's great," she said. "That's the kind of style that I want. It's different. It's kinda like 'Make You Dance.' It's just different, and people love it."

Keko said she listened to a lot of Baraka's music while she was in Canada. She was drawn to his unique style, which she compared to her past collaboration with Kenyan artist Madtraxx on the track "Make You Dance."

Baraka gained prominence with his song "Nana," which became a continental hit. The song's success led to a remix featuring acclaimed artists such as Ghana's King Promise, Nigeria's Joeboy, and Bien from the Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol. Baraka has become one of the most sought-after local artists in the music scene.

Keko said she is inspired by Baraka's success and is eager to re-establish herself as a creative and artist within the local music scene.

"I'm here to re-establish myself here as a creative/artiste," she said. "I think I've learned a lot in Canada, and I'm ready to bring that back to my home country."
