Musician Cinderella Sanyu, known as Cindy, penned Sheebah Karungi's debut song, but it didn't achieve the expected success.
For a while now, Sheebah has criticized Cindy for not doing enough to support her in making the song a hit, even alleging that Cindy didn't show up for the video shoot despite receiving an invitation.
Cindy now contends that the failure lay in Sheebah's execution of the song, despite it being a meticulously crafted masterpiece. She believes it could have become a hit if given to someone else.
"The song I wrote for her was a good one, but her execution was lacking. So I can't take blame for that. She was the one who couldn't bring out the best in it," Cindy explained in an interview with a local television station.
The ongoing exchange of words between the two female musicians continues as they prepare for their upcoming showdown on the 15th of this month at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
