Eddy Kenzo recently claimed he is a greater artist than the late Philly Bogole Lutaaya. His statement has not been received well by a section of Ugandans including singer Irene Ntale.
Ntale believes Kenzo will be finished off by pride. He needs to tame his tongue or otherwise, he will keep making a fool of himself.
She thinks Kenzo is hyped by the Grammy nomination but that is not enough for him to compare himself to a great artist like Philly Lutaaya.

One Grammy nomination and the man said he’s bigger than Philly!! Man pride is such a bad thing !" she wrote.
Philly Lutaaya is mostly remembered for songs like alone, Merry Christmas, and Born in Africa among others. His music continues to dominate airwaves years after his death.
