Almost every artiste in Uganda wants to release a music album, and usually, there’s a lot of hype.

Musician Chozen Blood says music albums don’t give a return on investment.

“Internet costs are high. And many of our consumers don’t understand these online streaming platforms. I think we still have a long way to go,” he says.

Chozen Blood released an album during the 2020 lockdown, but he says it didn’t perform well due to poor timing, among other reasons.
