Former Uganda Musician Association (UMA) president, Ykee Benda has come out to air his concerns about online voting which has been championed by the UMA electoral committee.

Ykee Benda who supports King Saha claims casting votes online is a scam. It can easily be compromised by technical experts.

He says just like his candidate, he doesn't trust the digital platforms that will be used during elections.

"Someone can use his or her power to influence the technical team to change the number of votes. It's not transparent and I would advise UMA to go for physical ballot casting," Ykee Benda prefers voters to use the secret ballot or line up behind their candidates.

The Mpaka Records boss also advises UMA bosses to borrow money from a bank or microfinance to facilitate the elections if they don't have money.
