A week ago, President Museveni directed an immediate lockdown of the country to stop the rapid spread of the coronavirus.
The musicians have not been able to perform for over a year since the first lockdown that happened in March last year.
With the current second wave of COVID-19 in Uganda, musicians are likely not to perform for two years.
Political analyst Tamale Mirundi has advised artists to start other businesses to make a living because currently, there is no hope in music.
Tamale emphasized that these musicians need devine intervention before their situation gets terrible.
