A few days ago, Uganda Musician Association (UMA) President Ykee Benda announced that he would resign hardly a year after taking over from Sophie Gombya, who threw in the towel to concentrate on her political career.

Cindy, who was a member of the association then succeeded Ykee Benda as the Vice President.

During an exclusive interview with Galaxy FM, Ykee Benda confirmed  Cindy will be the next President of the association.

The “Superman” hitmaker hailed her leadership traits and ability to command the industry as one of the reasons she is fit to succeed him.

Our efforts to reach Cindy for a comment were futile by press time but the date of her takeover remains unconfirmed.
